Tarrant County IPV
Fatality Review Report
Each year, the Tarrant County Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) Adult Fatality Review Team collaborates to determine possible systemic, policy, and practice improvements in our county. In October, the team publishes their findings in an annual fatality review report.
Led by the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in partnership with SafeHaven leadership, the Fatality Review Team brings together experts from various fields to analyze IPV homicides. By reviewing these cases, the team identifies gaps in services, policies, and resources that may contribute to such tragedies. The team’s goal is to prevent future IPV homicides by understanding systemic issues and initiating meaningful change.
