Freedom is possible
24-Hour Hotline: 1-877-701-7233
“I think I’m in a an abusive relationship.
I may need help. I may need to leave.”
We’re here to help.
Call SafeHaven’s hotline at 1-877-701-7233.
Calling the hotline doesn’t mean you have to end your relationship, come to shelter, or even come in for services at all. If you don’t know where to start, call the hotline. If you want to plan your exit, call the hotline. If you’re ready to leave your relationship and need help, call the hotline. It’s free and available 24/7/365 - answered by professionally trained, bilingual advocates, not volunteers.
Safety planning is an important part of leaving an abusive relationship. You can use the document below to safety plan, but know that safety planning works best when you work through it with a hotline advocate. While we believe you know your relationship best, we’ve worked with thousands of survivors and can enhance your safety plan in ways that work for you and your children.

a safe place for everyone.
Every service offered at SafeHaven is available to everyone, no matter their gender identity. We use ‘she/her’ pronouns to describe victims because the vast majority of victims we serve are women.
You can read two prevalent studies that confirm women are more frequently victims of domestic violence by clicking the buttons to the right.
In addition to SafeHaven’s gender inclusivity, we offer services to those who identify as LGBTQ+ and continue to strive to be an organization rooted in diversity, inclusion and acceptance, providing a welcoming and safe space for everyone.
We recognize that in some tribal communities, American Indian women face murder rates more than 10 times the national average, and often times, those murders result from domestic violence. SafeHaven strives to be culturally aware and educated, working together to end domestic violence for everyone.
SafeHaven is Tarrant County’s only state-designated Family Violence Program.
This designation, which provides the top levels of anonymity and safety to survivors, comes from the state’s Health and Human Services Commission.
