SafeHaven holds its annual Legacy of Women Awards Luncheon to recognize fifteen women who excel in their fields. The 2010 event, which is chaired by Diane Stow, will be held at downtown Fort Worth's Omni Hotel on October 29. The keynote speaker is The Royal Chef Darren McGrady, who was the chef to Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth. The format for the 2010 event has changed — this year, we will choose five winners from each of the following geographic regions: Greater Fort Worth, Greater Arlington and Northeast Tarrant County. A winner from each location in each category (Arts, Business, Education, Health and Human Services and Volunteerism) will be chosen, bringing the total number of women we honor from five to fifteen!
